TopDog V: HOW IT WORKS
The fast and easy installation process (click here to see video) eliminates the 2 to 6 hours of plumbing labor (about $60/hr) required by other systems, and it goes even further:
As oil travels from the oil pump into the TopDog V system adapter, it splits into two streams. The main stream, about 90 to 95% of the oil, goes directly into and through the full-flow filter, ensuring that the engine has a constant and adequate volume of oil flowing into it at all times.
A smaller stream is diverted directly into the bypass filter, where it is slowly and thoroughly cleaned to the 2 micron level. It then rejoins the oil exiting the full-flow filter, where the combined stream now goes directly into the engine.
This elegant design eliminates parasitic oil flow side-streaming, providing 100% of the oil flow to the engine without that parasitic oil flow required by other systems.

TopDog V is an environmentally-friendly, affordable "Parallel-Flow Oil Bypass Filtration System "™ that provides 2 micron bypass filtration when connected in parallel with your stock full-flow oil filter.
Once installed, your oil is cleaned to 2 microns every few minutes as you drive, dramatically reducing engine wear. This results in much better engine performance and an increase in time between oil and oil filter service intervals. Also, TopDog V sends 100% of the super-cleaned oil directly into the engine, not into the sump, eliminating flow robbing (parasitic) oil side-streaming required by other bypass system operations.
