“TopDog V Parallel Bypass Filtration System and KoolDog Parallel Flow Cooler recognized by Diesel World Magazine in their 50+ Hot New Products for 2010”
PPI’s Top Dog V and KoolDog have just been recognized by the editors of Diesel World Magazine as hot new products for 2010. The Diesel World editors selected 55 hot new products from the 2,000 on display at SEMA. Two Pareto Point Industry products made the cut: TopDog V and KoolDog (click here to download article).
TopDog V is a bypass grade filtration system that can be installed in ten to 15 minutes without having to access the oil sender unit. The purpose is to superclean the engine oil every few minutes to sustain peak horsepower and significantly reduce engine wear. Our “Parallel Bypass Flow” method is set up to avoid the traditional bypass filtration method of sidestreaming up to 15% of the engine oil flow. TopDog V does not need to do this because it returns the cleaned oil directly to the engine block instead of returning it to the engine sump. While important for all engines, this is of particular importance for older engines where oil pressure and flow are more critical.
KoolDog is a parallel oil cooler that can provide either primary or supplemental oil cooling by rerouting oil from the engine through a magnetic and particle filter into the cooler and returning the cooled and filtered oil directly back into the engine.
According to Adan Reinosa, P.E., PPI President, “While we initially introduced these products at the Off-Road Expo in October, they really took off at the SEMA show, where they were readily endorsed by the attendees. The energy continued to grow at the Performance Racing Industry Show in December, where the racing audience really responded. We are excited about the future of these products and pleasantly surprised and thankful that Diesel World magazine chose to recognize these innovative products.”
