Advanced Filtration (AF) is a relatively new and proven technology that uses high capacity fine filtering media to super clean motor oil. AF technology is recommended by the government and various States because of its ability to provide numerous economical and environmental benefits to fleet operators and also to independent vehicle owners.
AF can reduce downtime and overhaul costs, extend oil and full flow filter life (up to 10x), involve less waste handling and lower disposal costs, reduce engine wear, improve fuel economy (up to 3%), and reduce emissions (up to 20%).
Advanced Pulsed Lubrication System (APLS), is a patented On-Board Oil and Hydraulic Fluids Management System. Containing all of the basic elements of an Advanced Filtration System, it also provides benefits beyond the typical AF System, almost exclusively through software routines. This enables APLS to provide automated pre and post lubrication, turbo cool-down, and more. PPI’s system was built to overlay, overlap, or surpass other Advanced Filtration systems at a very favorable return on investment. APLS/AF is extremely robust and may be modified to fit user specifications. It can go beyond typical oil filtration as well, and can be a base for parallel lubrication systems, transmission lubrication, advanced diagnostics, or other functions.
